Our Editorial Process
Every article on Crimson Desert Strats goes through a rigorous 4-stage editorial process before publication:
Stage 1 — Research: Author researches the topic using 5+ primary sources (official Pearl Abyss dev diaries, beta test data, community-verified datamines, professional tournament VODs, and direct interviews with Korean gaming press). Minimum 4 hours of research per major guide.
Stage 2 — First-hand Testing: Author personally plays through every strategy they recommend. If we say "use Fire Greatspear on White Horn Phase 1", we've actually done it — multiple times, with different gear loadouts, recording the result. Our Boss strategies are not copied from elsewhere; they're reverse-engineered from playtests.
Stage 3 — Peer Review: A second team member (always from a different specialty) reviews the draft for accuracy, completeness, and bias. Discrepancies are resolved by replaying the relevant in-game scenario.
Stage 4 — Update Schedule: Every guide has a published update schedule. Major patches trigger immediate review. Minor balance changes trigger a 7-day review. Stale guides are flagged with a "Last Reviewed" date and re-tested within 30 days.

Editorial Standards
We hold ourselves to 7 editorial standards on every piece of content:
1. First-hand testing required: No strategy is published without the author personally executing it in-game at least 3 times. If a strategy fails our internal test, it does not ship — period.
2. Primary sources cited: All non-original data points cite the source (developer interview date, beta build number, tournament VOD timestamp). We do not invent numbers.
3. Update within 7 days of major patches: When Pearl Abyss ships a balance patch affecting our guides, we re-test and update within 7 days. Stale guides are flagged with a yellow banner.
4. No AI-generated content: All content is human-written. We use AI tools only for grammar checking and code linting, never for generating prose. Every author affirms this in our monthly content audit.
5. Honest disagreement: If our testing contradicts widely-held community wisdom, we say so explicitly with our test data. We do not parrot popular opinions to gain clicks.
6. Accessibility compliance: All pages meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards (color contrast ≥ 4.5:1, semantic HTML, keyboard navigable). We test with screen readers monthly.
7. Transparent corrections: When we make an error, we publish a correction note at the top of the affected article with the date and what changed. We do not silently edit.
