Which Class Should You Pick?
Choosing the right class is one of the most important decisions in Crimson Desert. Each class plays completely differently, with unique skills, combos, and roles. This tier list ranks every class by overall PvE performance to help you decide.
Whether you want to tank, deal damage, or support your team, there is a class that fits your playstyle perfectly.
Class Tier List
| Tier | Classes | Role |
|---|---|---|
| S | Warrior, Sorceress | Best overall, strongest in all content |
| A | Berserker, Ranger, Assassin | Excellent with minor weaknesses |
| B | Paladin, Archer, Wizard | Solid picks, good in their niche |
| C | Shaman, Monk | Niche or need buffs |
S-Tier Classes
Warrior
The Warrior is the most well-rounded class in the game. Excellent damage, great survivability, and the best defensive toolkit. Easy to learn but has depth for mastery.
- Best for: Beginners, solo players, anyone
- Strengths: High defense, great sustain, easy combos
- Weaknesses: Not the fastest clear speed
Sorceress
The highest damage class in the right hands. Massive AoE, great mobility, and tons of utility. Squishy but completely overpowered if you can survive.
- Best for: Experienced players, group play
- Strengths: Highest damage, great AoE, range
- Weaknesses: Very squishy, high skill ceiling
A-Tier Classes
Berserker
Absolute unit of a class. High health, high damage, and self-healing. The ultimate face-tank class that just does not die.
Ranger
Sustained ranged damage king. Great for kiting and boss fights where staying at range is safe. Excellent single target damage.
Assassin
Burst damage monster. Can delete bosses in seconds if played perfectly. Very high skill floor but rewarding to master.
B-Tier and Below
B-tier classes are still perfectly viable - they just have more noticeable weaknesses or are more niche.
Paladin
Amazing support and tanking, but damage is mediocre. Absolutely essential for high-end group content though.
Archer
Similar to Ranger but with more utility and less raw damage. Great for groups but falls behind solo.
How to Choose Your Class
Do not just pick the S-tier class. Pick the one that matches how you like to play.
- If you like being in the fight: Warrior or Berserker
- If you like big damage numbers: Sorceress or Assassin
- If you prefer ranged combat: Ranger or Archer
- If you want to support your team: Paladin or Shaman
